What is Sahaja Yoga meditation?

Sahaja means spontaneous or born within and Yoga means union with self.

Sahaja Yoga is a simple and effective form of meditation that can help reduce your stress and enhance your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

Sahaja meditation in New Zealand

In New Zealand there are several centres where regular workshops and collective programmes are held FREE of charge. In these, local people who are experienced Sahaja Yoga practitioners will take you through the basic meditation and balancing techniques that you can easily practice at home without much interruption to your daily routines.

There is NO FEE for any of these classes or collective sessions and you can join any week. No prior physical exercise, diet or special clothing is required. Participants can either sit on the floor (usually carpeted) or on a chair.
